Know your product

Salmon is born in fresh water and moves progressively to the sea. Then after sometime, it will return to its birth water to reproduce. Salmon farming appeared in Scotland and Norway in the middle of the 20th century. The flesh of this high-quality fish is rich in omega-3, vitamin B and protein. It is a fat, soft, and nicely pink fish. Atlantic Ocean Salmon (Salmo) has a slightly finer flesh than the Pacific variety (Oncorhynchus), and is more suitable for smoking. Our Farmed Salmons mainly come from Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and the Faroe Islands.

How to buy

The color of Salmon is not a sign of its freshness, contrary to its uniformity . Avoid brown spots or dry and/or yellow edges.

how to keep

Keep your Salmon in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Tips

During the cooking process, if you notice that Salmon becomes dry, coat it with melted butter for a few minutes, and cook it over a low heat.
