Comté is a French cheese labeled with a Protected Designation of Origin, usually produced as wheels that weight more than 30 kg. It is made from raw cow's milk, which is then pressed and baked. It is naturally rich in phosphorous, calcium, potassium, and protein. It releases subtle, fruity, floral, sweet and spicy flavors all at the same time.

Comté must have a pale yellow uniform color and has to be firm.
