Mackerel

Know your product

Scomber scombrus is also called Mackerel, Boston Mackerel or Atlantic Mackerel. It’s a fish living in open seas. It can be found in the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean, and in the Mediterranean Sea. Its streamlined body is blue-green, striped with black lines on the back, and silvery-white on the stomach. It’s a fat fish, mainly eaten grilled. It’s rich in essential fatty acids and in vitamins A and B. Its fat and white flesh releases pleasant flavors, reminiscent of Tuna.

Our range includes whole Mackerels, in fillet or in butterfly fillet, fresh, smoked or deep-frozen:
Norwegian Mackerel
Bigeye Mackerel
Scottish Mackerel
Spanish Mackerel
Atlantic Mackerel.
