Argyrosomus regius is also called Meager, Stone Bass, Shade Fish or Salmon Bass. It mainly lives in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, and its size goes from 50 cm to 2 meters. Its body is quite elongated, its eyes are small and its snout is round. When alive it has a beautiful silvery color, when dead it becomes gray-brown on its back and its sides shimmer. When this fish is less than 10 meters deep, boats passing overhead can hear the growl made by the Stone Bass, making it easier for fishermen to source.
