Know your product

Red Mullet is a semi-fatty fish living on rocky or sandy sea floors. Its shiny skin is a reddish orange on its back, and whitish on its stomach. It measures from 20–35 cm, and its flesh is thick yet fine and tender, of a high quality and low fat.

Our Red Mullets mainly come from Senegal, the Atlantic Ocean, Mauritania and the Indian Ocean.
Our range also includes pinched Red Mullets, which are caught individually angled. They have a label pinched to their gills to guarantee their superior quality and an even more subtle taste.

How to buy

Favor Red Mullets with a rigid body, a tight skin and a prominent clear eye; all indicators of freshness.

Tips
