Garlic has been used for over 5,000 years. Garlic has an extremely strong smell and taste when cut. There are over 200 varieties in the world but only pink and white Garlic are marketed everywhere. It is often used for perfuming warm and cold dishes.
A fun fact: the shortening of Garlic rations for the workers of the Egyptian Pyramids generated the first social conflicts.

How to buy

Choose firm, fleshy and heavy Garlic heads. If they are light or soft, they might have some mold.

how to keep

Keep your Garlic in a dry place at room temperature for 3–9 months according to the variety.

Tips

To peel Garlic easily, dip it into boiling water for 2 mins and then cool it in fresh water.
